The answer to that is simple. We need a new normal because even after centuries of mistreatment and racism towards Black people, even after overcoming slavery and Jim Crow, and even after coming through the civil rights movement and apartheid in South Africa, we are still suffering at the hands of mankind. All over the world, people just will not give Black people a break. You can name just about any country in the world and you will find that Black people are despised and mistreated, experiencing unequivalence everywhere.
Because of the disparities we have with others, we fall way behind when it comes to everything…you name it; health, jobs, homeownership, just to name a few. Even the most deserving people are not promoted on their jobs and many promising Black educators, doctors, scientists, technology experts, etc. are overlooked.
The COVID-19 Virus has shined a light on the problems of disparity among Black people and others as it relates to health. Many in our communities cannot afford to eat as healthy as our counterparts, and/or are just not educated about eating better. Many are not willing to change their diets because it is all they have ever known, stemming all the way back to days of slavery when we were forced to eat scraps and leftovers of different animals. So, we still eat that way causing a myriad of health issues including heart disease, diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and many other underlying health conditions. As a result, Black people are dying from the Novel Coronavirus at alarming rates.
These are the reasons I press on with what could be called an unpopular message. But I press on because I have unwavering faith that Jesus, Yeshua gave me the message and has commissioned me to share it with our people and the world.
That message is that He, first of all, wants His Black people to know that He is here in a new and powerful way to change your conditions around. He wants you to know that He has heard your cries of mistreatment and that He has a better way for you. He wants you to know that He too looks just like you do. He wants you to know that He has a covenant with you that has not nor ever will be broken. He wants you to know that today is your day of salvation. He wants you to know that He loves you.
For these reasons, I come to you. I have heard from the L-rd first-hand and He has confirmed His word to me in Scripture. I have written books for you to help you understand Jesus, Yeshua’s newly refreshed commands for you that He is presenting to you again, that He originally gave to our ancestors. Jesus, Yeshua is our ONLY answer and He wants you to pay specific attention to Him and His instructions to you today.
